[Pitch dusts himself off before he pauses in his preening. Did he honestly think he was some super villain? It was amusing to say the least.

He picks off a stray piece of lint from his shoulder, flicking it off with his long boney fingers, looking rather casual.]

Oh, I don't know. I think I might stay here a while. [Pitch pauses, silver eyes looking at him, eyebrows high on his forehead and a small smile tugging at his lips.] Unless you feel threatened, that is.

[ You did not just... You did! Pitch he is giving the dirtiest look ever. ]

No. Not hardly. Who wold be scared of a guy in a dress?

For your information it's a robe.

[Pitch gestures to his being before he eyes him up and down. He wrinkles his nose in distaste.]

Besides, you're one to talk with that ridiculous getup you have on.

It is a V-necked dress slit up the sides. [ Megmind is now cupping his elbow with one hand, his other gesturing as he remarks on the man's attire. ] At my attire says 'I'm scary' with spikes and lightening. You say 'I'm rentable by the hour.'

[ Girls girls you're both pretty. ]

[Absentmindedly, the shadows in his cloak crawl up his neck, fading into his skin just under his jawline. Sudden modesty? Perhaps.]

Oh yes of course. Your rejected rockstar outfit makes me shake in my boots.

Perhaps you should invest in more eyeliner.

I just might [ He's unshakable he knows he's evil and awesome. ] Seriously, so-- what are you doing in Metrocity? If it's not plotting evil. You are passing through, right? Metro Man will hit on you before he hits you if you go after him in that getup.

[His lips tighten into a thin line. He's going to ignore that comment.]

In mine of work, there's always something to do, anywhere and at any time. And I might even extend my stay a little longer than expected. [Just to spite the alien.]

Oh you don't have to do that. I hear Grand Rapids doesn't have as many second stringers; you might be able to find a niche there.

[ He could mention The Stiletto already has the cross-dressing gig in Metrocity... but it's better that he doesn't. ]

[Pitch shakes his head, looking at his nails.]

Yeah I think I'll stay here. Maybe for a few weeks. A month. [He shrugs.] Depends on how much fear I can conjure up here.

[megamind]

Hey, the only fear conjuring person they need is me. [ Megamind gestures to himself, fingers pressed to his chest ] And seriously? Generic fear? Come on, we don't need a Halloween themed villain, okay.

Please. [Pitch rolls his eyes.]

I can create more fear here in a single day than you have since you've been here.

Fear of guys in dresses? Listen, Dr. Stiletto has that covered.

It's not a dress!

[The throws his hands to the ground, and suddenly the shadows around him shudder and black sand rises, two large horses leaping out of the ground, neighing and kicking their front legs in the air. They settle beside their master, nostrils flaring, their yellow eyes narrowing at the alien.]

[megamind]

[ Oh, two ponies? That's okay. The shout got the attention of all the brainbots helping with stage construction, and that's... hundreds of red eyes, now floating forward, fluttering wildly with color. ]

Totally a dress, man. It's okay. Seriously. Alternative lifestyles go with the gig.

[kingofnightmares]

[He notices the brain bots approaching and his Nightmares look at them curiously, ears perked forward. Pitch frowns though as three more Nightmares appear behind him, just for good measure.]

Sure. Fine. We'll say it's a dress. [He'll humor him as he glances over his shoulder at the sky.

And guess what? He missed the lunar eclipse.]

Well, it is.

[ Megamind doesnt' care about the eclipse. He cares about Pitch, who he is watching... closely. Just like his brainbots are. ]

[He turns his attention back to Megamind, shaking a finger at him.]

Why must you carry on with that ridiculous subject?

[And his Nightmares look back at the brain bots and Megamind, crowding in closer to their master, protectively.]

[megamind]

Because it aggravates you, obviously. [ You asked, Pitch. ]

Look, you're probably a really awesome villain wherever you come from, so why don't you just head back there? I have enough work on my hands with Metro Man, I don't have enough time to watch you fumble your way into getting integrated here, and screw up everybody else's time tables.

[kingofnightmares]

Go back? [His lips tighten into a thin line.] There is no 'going back' to anywhere. This whole world is my home. I have no designated spot of where I stay.

I come and go as I please, and where I see fit.

[megamind]

Oh, so you do the drifter thing. Bummer for you, I guess.

[ No place to call your own! No home! Megamind would consider that a huge sadness, because he's -- ell, rather entrenched in his and what it means to him. To not have that... makes Pitch pitable, really. ]

Well, okay, I'm sure the others can work you in before you move on. But you can't do anything for a couple of weeks, I've got a big plan set in motion and it'll be done by then, I think.

[kingofnightmares]

[Pitch straightens up as his Nightmares back away from him, seeing as how things weren't escalating to violent proportions now.]

Oh, I'm sorry. I'm supposed to work around your schedule? [Pitch stares at him dryly, both eyebrows raised high on his forehead.]

Mmmno. I don't think so.

[megamind]

Hey, I've got seniority around here! Also, I'm mid plan. It could get really messy for you if you get in the middle of. Why don't you go catch up on Dancing With The Stars in the meantime, huh?

[kingofnightmares]

[Pitch sighs heavily and lifts his hand. Black sand swirls around it before he throws his hand up in a sweeping motion.

A steady stream of the sand flies into the air, across the top of the stage at the spot lights. With loud pops, the bulbs within them explode, the light from them disappearing. The sand loops back down to Pitch, which he makes disappear.]

I will do as I please, no matter what banter you throw at me.

[megamind]

Hey! Those are expensive! [ Megamind glances back, and then leans over to a brainbot. ] Make a note, order more bulbs...

And, what was that oil sands? That's gross and not environmentally sound. Are you some sort of fear-of-pollution bad guy? And you chose to operate in Michigan? Man...

[kingofnightmares]

No. It's dream sand. No oil involved. [Pitch glances back up at the alien, gesturing a hand back to his creatures.]

They're made of the same thing.
