[She worked too much. It was something Tooth had heard over and over again from her fellow Guardians. "Even Sandy takes naps!" Bunnymund had told her but she didn't pay it any mind at the time.

Even now, she had a hard time believing she was over-worked. Her job was just so rewarding! All those molars and bicuspids and incisors she was able to see on any given day along with all the memories they held made her heart swell. Though since Jack had come around and claimed the title of Guardian of Fun, she'd started learning that all work and no play makes Toothiana a dull girl.

So, of course, it had been Jack that had convinced her to go star gazing. A few hours couldn't hurt, right? While she begged to differ, here she was sitting next to her fellow Guardian with her eyes cast upward towards the night sky.]

I don't see anything yet, Jack. Are you sure there's a comet tonight?

Jamie said there was and said this would be one of the better places to see it. I think he's in an astronomy phase right now.

[ Jack flashes her a reassuring grin. It was good to see Tooth able to relax for a little while. ]

C'mon, you trust me, right?

Is he now? I'll have to have him tell me all about it next time he or Sophie loses a tooth!

[She smiles right back at him before her eyes drift back to the sky.]

Of course I trust you! I guess I'm just a little antsy. Old habits die hard.

[ Jack laughs a little, reaching over and giving her hand a quick squeeze. ]

I could always arrange another sledding accident.

I'm sure it won't be much longer.

I think I'd like letting him lose at least a few naturally. [A small laugh.] But I appreciate the thought.

What time was i--

[Tooth stops short as her eye catches the beginnings of the comet. Her feathers fluff out and her wings give a couple excited flaps.]

Jack, there it is!

[ Jack's eyes turn skyward as well, brightening as the comet, accompanied by dozens of tiny meterorites along with it, began streaking through the night sky. ]

Oh wow...

5, but also just any of the standard night sky attractions too

[It was no big secret that Bunny took everything just a little too seriously and got way too involved with Easter preparations most of the time. Even in his off season, Bunnymund was disconnected from a lot of things that went on, not busy, but just staying and tending his Warren unless needed or necessary.

And yet somehow it didn't take all the much effort for Jack Frost to pull Bunny out of his hole for a night and find a soft, grassy area to lie out in and just stare up at the night sky and their old friend Man in the Moon.

Bunny doesn't say anything for the longest time, only occasionally pointing up at the bright light of a planet, or connecting the dots of a constellation without actually telling Jack that's what it is.]

Okay, you win. This is slightly better than another night in the Warren. [He wasn't going to dignify the previous jokes about his only companions being eggs though, no matter how true it might be, even now.] I don't think I've ever seen the moon so big like this.

[ Jack has conjured a small fluff of snowdrift to lay back in, arms bent behind his head as he looked up at the sky. He'd spent many nights like this and looked over at the pooka with a grin. ]

Just because I haven't been around as long as everyone else doesn't mean I don't have any inside information.

[springsforward]

[The pooka is more than content to stay in the lush grass, while Jack has his snowdrift to himself. He can feel the cool air around the icy snowdrift, and that's more than enough chill against his fur for him.

Still, he's pretty comfortable right now, idly scratch his chest fur with his paw as he looks over to Jack, a small smile as well. This wasn't a terrible idea.]

Oh yeah? A few centuries and now you're a regular ol' genius, is that it, mate?

No, it helps when you're a genius to start out with.

[ Such a cheeky grin, but he can't resist the poke before he glances up at the moon again. ]

Although I suppose you'll want to show me the greenest patch of grass next time.

[springsforward]

[And that get an amused laugh out of Bunny, something Jack was naturally good at doing when he wasn't annoying the pants off of the pooka... the metaphorical pants.]

There's a next time now? [He playfully nudges Jack's side.] That depends on how likely you are to frost the place over.

Don't you know how it works, Cottontail? [ impish grin ] Once you're nice to me once, you'll never get rid of me. You shouldn't have fed the stray.

[springsforward]

I don't adopt strays, and since when are you a puppy, Frostbite? Besides, you're the one who dragged me out here. Being nice had nothing to do with it. [Bunny has an amused smile, though, and since Jack's apparently a stray now, he's getting an almost affectionate hair ruffle.] I get the feeling I couldn't get rid of you even if I tried, considering how long you've been the thorn in my side.
